Short answer: on 2026-10-16 we compared seven Rome food tours on Klook and KKday, from EUR 39 to EUR 132.25 per adult, lasting 2 to 4 hours. Only two pages state a count of what you get. KKday lists 5 street food tastings, a beer sample and a wine sample for EUR 43.40. Klook lists 15 samples and 3 wine tastings for EUR 101.20. Rule: if you want a stated count, choose between those two; otherwise compare EUR per hour in the table. Prices are per adult, and tips are extra where a page names them.

We read seven product pages on 2026-10-16 and took a screenshot of each. Every price is a “from” price for one adult, and it changes with the package and the date you choose.

Which food tour for which budget?

The seven tours fall into three price bands, and the table with all seven follows them. The two picks with a stated count are in the short answer above. Each card link is an affiliate link. The price we read on the listing is on the card.

Under EUR 55: street food in the centre

  • KKday tasting tour in Trastevere, EUR 39: 2 hours, meets at the Touristation Navona office in Piazza Navona. The page has a child ticket for ages 3 to 17. We found no tasting count on it.
  • KKday street food tour, EUR 43.40: 2 hours 30 minutes with a guide, and a “guaranteed departure” label. The guide meets you under the Giordano Bruno statue in Campo de’ Fiori.
  • Klook Trastevere and Campo de’ Fiori walk, EUR 54.05: 2 hours 30 minutes through Trastevere and Campo de’ Fiori, with a market visit. The guide language is English, and the meeting point is by the fountain in Piazza San Simeone.

Three tours sit under EUR 55, and each runs 2 to 2.5 hours. Only one states a count.

About EUR 75 to EUR 101: a market, or a longer walk

  • Klook Mercato Trionfale and Prati tour, EUR 74.75: 2 hours from 11:00, on Trionfale Market, Prati and Borgo Pio, ending at Saint Peter’s Square. It does not run on Sundays or Italian holidays, and the page says it cannot serve gluten intolerance or vegan diets.
  • Klook Trastevere food tour, EUR 90.85: 3 hours in Trastevere from Piazza Mastai. The itinerary lists cured meats with wine, supplì, pizza with a beer, and gelato. Vegetarian and alcohol-free options are listed. The included list also mentions a sit-down dinner that the itinerary does not show.
  • Klook Campo de’ Fiori, Ghetto and Trastevere tour, EUR 101.20: 3 hours 30 minutes from Piazza Farnese, where the page lists 15 samples in 5 places and 3 wine tastings. The page says the Campo de’ Fiori market is open only on morning departures, and not on Sundays.

EUR 132.25: dinner

The Klook Twilight Trastevere tour is the dearest and the longest: 4 hours, for 2 to 12 people, meeting at Piazza San Bartolomeo all’Isola. The page lists a complete dinner with tastings and starts the tour in the afternoon. It warns of a lot of walking and stairs, and asks you to email the operator about diets.

How much does a Rome food tour cost? All seven side by side

Tour (product) From, EUR Hours EUR per hour Group size Free cancel until What the page counts Card

Klook, Trastevere Food Tour (103080) 90.85 3 30.28 not read 24 hours before Meats, supplì, pizza, gelato Check price
Klook, Campo de’ Fiori, Ghetto, Trastevere (148210) 101.20 3.5 28.91 1 to 12 24 hours before 15 samples, 3 wine tastings Check price

Where a page states a count, we divide the price by the bites and sips it lists. The KKday street food tour comes to EUR 6.20 for each of its 7. The Klook Campo de’ Fiori, Ghetto and Trastevere tour comes to EUR 5.62 for each of its 18. That is a rough guide, because a sample on one tour may be bigger than a tasting on another.

What the pages leave out, and what this page could not check

  • Four Klook pages list tips and personal expenses next to the included items. We read them as not in the price.
  • Five of the seven pages state no count of tastings, so you cannot tell from a low price whether the meal is small.
  • Five pages say something about diets. Four list vegetarian options, some only with notice. The Klook Campo de’ Fiori, Ghetto and Trastevere tour says it can cater to gluten intolerance, though it does not guarantee special food requirements. The KKday street food tour, the Klook Trastevere food tour and the Klook Mercato Trionfale tour say they cannot, and they rule out vegans. The Klook Twilight tour asks for an email before the tour.
  • Two Klook tours name Sunday limits. One ties it to the Campo de’ Fiori market, and the other gives no reason.
  • We did not read the group size for three tours, or any child price. We also read two KKday Flavors of Rome pages, a Klook half-day food tour, a Klook espresso and gelato tour, a vespa sidecar tour and a private golf cart tour. They are not in the table, which stays at seven. Prices can change after 2026-10-16.

If you are still choosing a day, see the Rome tours comparison for the Vatican, a city walk or a hop-on bus ticket, the Rome day trips comparison, and for a ticket, Colosseum tickets. We run the same food tour comparison for Tokyo food tours, for Paris food tours, and the same tour read for day trips from Florence and for Florence city tours. All sources are on the sources page, and how we score and price explains the method.

How we made this page

We open each Klook and KKday product page in a browser, read the price, the listed terms and the stops, and take a screenshot of each. Prices are the euro figures the pages print, so no conversion applies. We do not copy seller text, we have not joined any of these tours, and we have not tasted any of this food.

Research and first drafts are AI-assisted. Every figure comes from open data listed on the page with its source and date, and a person reviews each page before it goes live.
