Short answer: on 2026-10-15 the store’s adult Entrance Pass started from 4,800 Japanese yen (JPY), or EUR 27.06, on every open date from 15 October to 15 November. From 1 to 18 December it started from 3,800 JPY (EUR 21.42). The store says the price also depends on entry time. Tiqets listed its entry ticket from EUR 27.11. Rule: choose the date first, because the date moves the price more than the seller does.

teamLab Planets is a walk-through art museum in Toyosu, Tokyo, with rooms of water and mirrors. Its own ticket store sells the tickets, and resellers sell the same ones. We read the store’s calendar and the Tiqets listing in a browser on 2026-10-15, with a screenshot of each. Euro figures on this page are our conversion at 177.39 JPY per EUR, the rate of the European Central Bank (ECB) on 2026-10-14, so your card will charge a slightly different amount.

How much is a teamLab Planets ticket?

The adult Entrance Pass ran from 3,800 JPY (EUR 21.42) to 4,800 JPY (EUR 27.06) across the dates the official store listed on 2026-10-15. The store prints a “from” price per date and says the price also depends on entry time. Teenagers and children pay less. The Premium Pass costs 12,000 JPY (EUR 67.65).

Adult Entrance Pass, price shown per date band:

Dates in 2026 Adult, from (JPY) In EUR
15 Oct to 15 Nov 4,800 27.06
16 to 20 Nov 4,400 24.80
21 to 30 Nov 4,200 23.68
1 to 18 Dec 3,800 21.42
19 to 25 Dec 4,200 23.68
26 to 31 Dec 4,600 25.93

Two days inside these bands are closed days, listed under opening hours. The December dates carried a circle mark on 2026-10-15, not the “a few left” triangle. The legend does not explain it, so see the section on when to buy.

On the store’s price list, read on 2026-10-15, junior high and high school students pay 2,800 JPY (EUR 15.78). Children aged 4 to 12 pay 1,500 JPY (EUR 8.46). Under 3 is free. The disability price starts at 1,900 JPY (EUR 10.71). The Premium Pass, for adults and children from 4, is 12,000 JPY (EUR 67.65). Staff may ask for ID to check an age ticket. The help page accepts any student card for the junior high and high school price, or a passport or other official document that shows age.

Is the official store cheaper than Tiqets?

Barely. On the “from” prices we read, the store’s 4,800 JPY band (15 October to 15 November) was cheaper by EUR 0.05 for the Entrance Pass, and its Premium Pass by EUR 0.13, at the ECB rate. Tiqets listed EUR 27.11 and EUR 67.78. The store’s yen prices came to EUR 27.06 and EUR 67.65. Neither side showed a time slot, so this compares one “from” price with another.

Official store

  • Payment: the home page lists credit cards, PayPay and UnionPay. The usage guide says DMM members cannot use UnionPay or Mastercard. The store says it adds no fee beyond the ticket price, and that its prices include tax.
  • Refunds: the usage guide says there are no refunds after purchase.
  • Safety: on 2026-10-15 the store’s home page carried a notice warning about fake ticket sites that imitate teamLab Planets. We read the notice’s title only. Check the web address before you pay: the official store is teamlabplanets.dmm.com.

Tiqets

  • Prices are in euros. The listing showed “available tomorrow” and we picked no date or time. A bundle called “Tokyo Skytree & teamLab Planets: Entry Ticket” was listed from EUR 51.40.
  • The Premium Pass page says the ticket is nonrefundable. It also says the pass skips the entrance queue but gives no priority access to individual exhibits. We did not read the cancellation rules of the entry ticket.

Which ticket should you buy?

Let the date band in the table above decide the price. The two sellers’ “from” prices sat within EUR 0.13 of each other, so pick the seller by what you need: euros and bundles at Tiqets, or the official store with no extra fee listed.

  • Flexible dates in December: 1 to 18 December costs 1,000 JPY (EUR 5.64) less per adult than the 4,800 JPY dates.
  • Want euros on the receipt, or a bundle with another Tokyo sight: Tiqets.
  • Otherwise: the official store, at the same price with no extra fee listed.
  • Premium Pass: it admits you without joining the entry queue. It costs 7,200 JPY (EUR 40.59) more than the 4,800 JPY Entrance Pass. Buy it only if 30 to 60 minutes in a queue is worth that to you.

When can you buy tickets?

The store sells dates ahead of time. On 2026-10-15 its calendar ran to 31 December, and a line under it said January tickets open in late October. If your dates fall before 26 November, book now: every open date from 15 October to 25 November was marked “a few left”.

From 26 November on, the dates showed a circle, which the store’s legend does not explain. We read that as open, but the page does not say so.

What are the opening hours?

The venue is open 8:00 to 22:00 Japan time, and the last entrance is one hour before closing. On 31 December it closes at 20:00. It is closed on Thursday 5 November and Thursday 3 December.

The time on your ticket is your admission time. Join the line within it.

How long does a visit take?

Plan for a wait at the gate and no set visit length. The official pages give no visit length, and they say the time on your ticket is your admission time, not a stay time. Re-entry is not allowed once you leave.

The usage guide says the Entrance Pass line may take 30 minutes. The help page says 30 to 60 minutes.

How do you get to teamLab Planets?

Take the Yurikamome line to Shin-Toyosu Station. The entrance is 1 minute on foot from there. The venue has no parking, so the official page asks guests to come by train or bus.

  • Toyosu Station (Tokyo Metro Yurakucho line): 10 minutes on foot.
  • Shijomae Station (Yurikamome line): 5 minutes on foot.
  • Taxi: 15 minutes from Tokyo Station, or 15 minutes by expressway from Haneda Airport, according to the store.

What should you wear?

Plan to go barefoot. The help page asks guests to take off socks and tights in the locker room, because some rooms have water.

Dresses: the help answers we opened do not mention them. They only warn about mini skirts, because some floors are mirrored. Staff hand out free rental shorts in sizes XS to 6L. Return them before you leave.

Is there a discount on teamLab Planets tickets?

We found no general discount on the official ticket page. It lists prices by age, a disability price, and a free ticket for children under 3. We did not read which coupons exist.

The usage guide says to enter a coupon code when you pay. If one reaches you, the store’s checkout is the place to use it.

What this page could not check

  • Klook. It showed a block page on 2026-10-15, so it is not in this comparison.
  • Time-slot prices. The store prints one “from” price per date, and says the price varies by entry time. Tiqets showed a “from” price with no date picked.
  • Queue length on the day, and how long visitors stay.
  • Cancellation rules of the Tiqets entry ticket.
  • Price changes after 2026-10-15.

How we made this page

We open the official ticket store and the Tiqets listing in a browser, scroll the price calendar month by month, and take a screenshot of each. Yen prices are the store's own. Euro figures are our conversion at the ECB reference rate of 2026-10-14. We do not copy seller text, and we have not visited the venue. Klook showed a block page, so we did not read it.

Research and first drafts are AI-assisted. Every figure comes from open data listed on the page with its source and date, and a person reviews each page before it goes live.
